SHREE VARADA LAXMI NARASHIMHA SWAMI

Lord Narsimha is the most intense form of Lord Vishnu.  Lord Lakshmi Narasimha is one of 10 different avatars of Lord Vishnu. His incarnation was done on the earth to bless humanity. Lord Narsimha is the preserver of the universe and along with His consort, Goddess Laxmi who is the bestower of wealth and materialistic comforts ensures overall wellbeing of devotees.  

The Ashram houses an Ekakuta style temple at its Southwest corner with a Vimana Gopuram atop a Garba Gruha which opens on to a Ardha mandapam. The Garba Gruha enshrines a Prasanna Vadana (pleased looking) idol of Shree Narashimha Swami on his left lap sits Varda Laxmi embracing each other. The idol is seated on 1008 Shali Grams and is under the hooded protection of Lord Adishesha, the lord himself is adorned with a mala of Shali Grams. The Mandapa houses idols of 12 alwars (poet- saints) who espoused bhakti in their songs of longing, ecstasy, and service for the lord Vishnu. 

The temple has two daily rituals at 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
