Swami Brahmaatmananda

Swami Brahmaatmananda was born in a traditional astrological family. His strong inclination towards spirituality began right at his early age. He completed Rig Veda adhyayana and also studied Jyotish Shastra. 

Swamiji was initiated into Srividya Sadhana by Sringeri Jagadguru, Maha Sannidhanam Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji. Swamiji studied Vedanta from well-known sampradaya teachers Swami Paramarthananda of Chennai and Swami Omakarananda of Theni, Madurai. He was initiated into the Sanyasa order by Swami Omkarananda. He met Swamini Poornapragnananda (Amba), from whom he received the Maha Shodashi mantra & was introduced by her to the Avadhoot & Siddha lineage of Bhagavan Nityananda of Ganeshpuri. 

Presently Swamiji is heading Antahkarana Gnana Nilayam, an ashram in Tiruvannamalai. His mission is to teach and propagate Adi Shankara’s Advaita Siddhanta to the maximum extent. Swamiji is an expert in Shankara’s Prastana Bhashya and his other Prakarana granthas. He is very approachable and is always ready to guide and teach spiritual seekers. He continues to impart his rich knowledge of Saṃpradāyik teachings through various means in a holistic manner. He conducts regular online classes and gives talks on Advaita Siddhanta.
